12 Years of Helping You Live Better

In 2018, my dream of private practice became reality.  Allegiant Speech Pathology was created based on my desire to provide quality speech pathology services that my clients deserve and need.  After working in clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers for ten years, I saw the need to offer a different type of service. I wanted to get to know my clients, to learn what is important to them, and know them on a person level to help them thrive.  As a business owner, I am able to take the time to give my client's the service they need to succeed.

I base my own success on my client's achievements.

Ashleigh Guffey, MS, CCC-SLP is the founder of Allegiant Speech Pathology, LLC.  Her practice focuses on infant and pediatric feeding, oral motor, orofacial myofunctional disorders, dysphagia, sensory-motor speech disorders, and cognitive communication disorders.

She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master's of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Mississippi. Ashleigh completed her medical externship at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN with a focus on inpatient neurological acute care and outpatient cognitive rehabilitation.  She completed her clinical fellowship in Louisville, KY with a focus on dysphagia, aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders.

Over the course of her education and career, Ashleigh has provided speech pathology services across all ages groups to include early intervention (birth to three years old), pediatrics, teens, adults, and geriatrics.   Ashleigh also has experience supervising and training speech-language pathologists during their clinical fellowship year.

Ashleigh holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is currently licensed to practice speech pathology in Kentucky.
